Recently my grandmother passed away. E215. was a film we made together however having hid all my recording equipment she did not know about the collaboration initially. The film is guided by her voice. She sang to me, off key but with sincerity. When she viewed the film she liked it very much, particularly for its meditative nature.
E215. screened this weekend at Alchemy Film & Moving Image Festival 2015 and will be screening at Chorlton Arts Festival 2015 in May. The film was looking badass with mandatory subtitles at Festival d’Art Video Cultures Numériques : Videofromes 2015, Clermont – Ferrand, France.
Last month E215. screened at the premier of Luminous Latitude Touring programme 2015 at Glasgow Short Film Festival and will be screening at White Chapel Gallery, London in July.
